Action Opportunity! The upcoming (February 2007) United Students for Fair Trade Convergence in Boston and Fair Trade Tour this spring are important ways for ENGAGE to continue our dedication to this important issue. A Personal Video Message from Pi Chu
Yasothorn Province, Thailand
Still not sure that you can have an impact in making Fair Trade rice a viable option in the U.S. market?
Click here for a personal video message from Pi Chu, Rice Mill Manager from the Kudchum Mill in Yasothorn province about the critical connection between rice farmers and students working for Fair Trade rice.
Rice farmer Paw Bunsong wants you to wake up!
He has a dream to connect consumers with Fair Trade rice that you and ENGAGE can help him realize.
The Fair Trade rice mill network in Thailand needs more access to the U.S. market. Students in Khon Kaen, Thailand have been working hard this year to continue ENGAGE's momentum to open channels to support rice farmers in the Issan (northeastern) region.
