What does being an ENGAGE-Affiliated Abroad Program mean?
ENGAGE works with study abroad programs committed to grassroots education as a means of enriching the study abroad experience for students, study abroad providers, and local partner communities. The ENGAGE-Affiliated Abroad Program is designed to build long-term relationships between ENGAGE, study abroad providers, and local communities. It also serves to link these communities to an international audience.
By becoming an ENGAGE-Affiliated Program a study abroad program commits to:
Creating an internship program in their host country that enables ENGAGE Global Citizens to work alongside the program and local community-partners |
Connecting this internship program to ENGAGE's Global Citizen Program |
Connecting interested study abroad students to the ENGAGE network when they return to the United States |
ENGAGE-Affiliation helps your program make a difference.
